Originally founded in 2005 in Jakarta, FAG South East Asia Pte. Ltd was later renamed to PT Schaeffler Bearings Indonesia in 2008. To better meet the growing demand of our products and services across Indonesia, Schaeffler opened an additional office in Surabaya in 2009 and another office in Jakarta at Lippo Kuningan in 2014.

Guided by our claim, “We pioneer motion”, we are actively strengthening our manufacturing and engineering footprint in the Asia Pacific region, to meet the evolving needs of customers in localization and application development. Driven by a team of highly skilled and motivated engineers around the country, Schaeffler Indonesia has achieved numerous Customer Awards for best quality, delivery, and vendor performance.

With increased research and development activities in the areas of robotics, industry 4.0 with focus on digital manufacturing, autonomous and electrified mobility solutions, development of fuel cell technology and additive manufacturing, Schaeffler will continue to shape the future of automotive and industrial sectors as the preferred technology partner for many of our customers.
